Entry from: Surfers Paradise, Australia Entry Title: “Gold Coast fun times!” Entry: “Fun times are exactly what were to be had in Queensland’s sunny Gold Coast! Lucky little me packed my bags and jumped on my free flight and free accommodation in the 5-star casino-cum-hotel (courtesy of work…mwahaha!) and jetted off to the sunshine state for some serious entertainment! Surfers Paradise isn’t exactly a haven full of surfer dudes and beach bums (but it certainly is where all the hot Aussies wile away their days!)….more of a paradise for the hedonistic and debaucherous who like to sunbake the hangover away…somehow I managed to slip in to that culture quite nicely! I lost my jagermeister virginity and after that there was no going back….dancing away on the sweaty, smoke-machined dancefloor teaming with young kids (and Nobbi from Big Brother…haha!) I was transported back to the early years of many a summer night spent ravin’ it up on some island somewhere in the Med! But you know me too well and never will a night on the tiles interfere with my sightseeing tendencies! So it was then away from the madness that is Surfers and back over the state border to the hippie vibes and untouched beauty of Byron Bay.
